Production use

1. It can be used as a raw material for organic synthesis to produce formic acid, formamide, dimethylformamide, ethylene glycol, trichloromethyl chloroformate, oxalate, acetic anhydride, acetic acid, etc.

 

2. It is used in the production of pesticides, military poisonous gases and solvents; it is used as a solvent for cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate, fumigant pesticides, and fungicides.

 

3. Formylating agent in organic synthesis. It can also be used in spice and dried fruit, processing cereals, etc.

 

 

Storage conditions

 

Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The storage temperature should not exceed 29℃. Keep container tightly closed. It should be stored separately from oxidants and alkalis, and should not be mixed. Use explosion-proof lighting and ventilation facilities. Prohibit the use of mechanical equipment and tools that are prone to sparks. Storage areas should be equipped with emergency release equipment and suitable containment materials.
